Emma Bunton has revealed what her youngest son is getting for Christmas – and it seems he’s a chip off the old block. The Spice Girls singer says her 4-year-old Tate loves playing with dolls particularly ones from a girl band…
As Baby Spice presented Little Mix with the Ultimate Girl Group award at a Cosmopolitan do, she revealed she’s got Tate the Little Mix dolls for Christmas.
“I bought the dolls off Amazon the other day for my youngest son who is obsessed with you,” she told the crowd.
Little Mix were absolutely thrilled with the revelation.
Emma also has an 8-year-old son Beau, and it seems Girl Power has spread throughout Emma’s household. Zig-a-zig-ah.
We’re not surprised that the mum-of-2 is proud to announced that her son is playing with dolls. Just last month, a boy appeared in a Barbie doll advert for the first time ever.

Comedy Central UK has renewed Drunk History, their local adaptation of the U.S. format of the same name, for a second season, TVWise has learned. Eight episodes have been ordered for the show’s second season, which is set to premiere in 2016.
The series, which was initially picked up to series in late 2014, has been a ratings hit for Comedy Central UK ever since it launched earlier this year. In its first season, Dunk History UK beat its weekday slot average by a third, and almost four million Adults having watched the show since it launched.
Drunk History features comedians getting very drunk in order to tell a true historical story they are passionate about. As they narrate these stories, slurred word for slurred word, a host of well-known actors, celebrities and other comedians act out these new, rather blurry versions of history. Tiger Aspect Productions is producing, with Jill Offman, Lourdes Diaz and Andy Brereton executive producing.
“I am thrilled that we are working with Tiger Aspect again to bring back a second series of Drunk History in the UK, said Lourdes Diaz, Vice President, Head of Global Production & Development, Comedy Central International. “There was a lot of love for the first series and I can’t wait to have viewers laughing out loud again with even more hilarious ‘historians’ and of course, more drinking!”
Jimmy Carr is returning as the narrator for the second season, while Comedy Central UK and Tiger Aspect have already lined up a slew of celebrities for the new episodes. Emma Bunton, Jack Whitehall, Olivia Colman, Michelle Keegan, Hugh Dennis, Phil Jupitus, Tom Rosenthal, Vicky Pattison, Josie Long, Joe Lycett, Mathew Baynton, Nick Helm, Sara Pascoe, Jessica Knappett and Nish Kumar have all signed on to appear in season two.
“Now that our livers have just about recovered, it’s time to go again, this time bigger and better”, added Andy Brereton, Head of Comedy and Entertainment for Tiger Aspect Productions. “With Comedy Central’s help we’re aiming to bring viewers some of the biggest comedy names in the UK.”

Emma Bunton is interviewed by Nicky Smith on her BFBS Radio show. Talks about Disney On Ice Ambassador role, Spice Girls reunion and her small part as a guest star on the Rocky Horror Show.
She’s secretly always been our favourite Spice Girl (shhhhhh, don’t tell the others!) so we were pretty excited to interview Emma Bunton for an exclusive cover story in the June issue of Essentials magazine.
As well as answering all of our probing questions, the Heart FM DJ and mum-of-two agreed to play a little game of Truth or Dare with us – watch her reveal guilty secrets and hidden talents in the exclusive behind-the-scenes video (coming soon)
Her next birthday may be her 40th but Emma looks as youthful and bubbly as she did in her Baby Spice days so the first thing we asked her for was her secret…
Emma on taking care of herself…
I try to look after myself, stay active and drink lots of water, but I’m not neurotic about it. I don’t want to be in the gym when I could be with my kids. One thing I could definitely do with more of though… is sleep!
On making her kids cringe….
I’m afraid I’m a bit of an embarrassing mum. As soon as they appear, I literally grab them and squeeze them and kiss them. Beau’s only seven and he’s already like, ‘Eurgh Mum, get off!’ But
I can’t help myself. I know it’s probably going to have to stop soon, so I’m making the most of it while I can.
On girl power…
It still means the same thing to me today as it did when we started. It’s about empowering other women and having strong female role models. It’s not like we’re screaming and shouting and burning our bras; it’s just about women supporting other women. We’re all juggling children and work, so it helps to know we have one another.
Emma co-hosts London’s Heart Breakfast show with Jamie Theakston, weekdays from 6am, and presents her own show, Celebrate Saturday, from 5pm to 7pm every weekend.
